The School is sponsored by INAF, with the technical contribution from the Marie Curie ''Transfer of Knowledge'' (TOK) project COSMOCT, and of the INAF-Catania Astrophysical Observatory and Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania
It will be hosted at the HotelLa Perla Ionica, a large touristic resort on the magmatic coast of Acireale, near Catania, not far from Mount Etna (approx. 3280m height), one of the few active volcanoes in Europe.
The School will offer a balanced program, with a good share between regular lectures, contributed talks from the participants and informal discussions. A few social events for participants and accompanying persons will also be organised.
The nearest airport is Catania International Airport, which is well connected to many italian and european destinations.
